Observations Report
In the annual Observations Report, the Austrian lawyers highlight deficiencies in the Austrian justice system and the administrative system and make proposals for improvements.
The Austrian Bar exercises this supervisory function on the basis of the authority granted to it by the Austrian Lawyers' Code (Rechtsanwaltsordnung).
The lawyers' suggestions and proposals usually attract the interest and attention of the public authorities in charge. They have often helped to correct grievances. For citizens this means that proceedings are speeded up, etc.
